Web Development
Web Development is a field which I've begun recently during my studies in Interactive Media at MCAST.
I have worked on projects mainly for school assignments although one of my most recent projects is a mobile app for Blue Flag Malta which is currently in development.
IGN Redesign
When I first started Web Development I had to take an existing website and "redesign" it (not officially). I chose to redesign the IGN website since I am a gamer and I felt the site needed several adjustments.
I made use of HTML and CSS to code the site and Bootstrap 3 to make the process of making the site look good a bit easier to accomplish.
The actual content wasn't a requirement, just the site's structuring and aesthetics.

Blue Flag App
This year I started working on a mobile app using a framework called FrameWork7 to create an app for a Non Government Organisation called Blue Flag, where they asked for an app which allows them to speed up the process of their beach questions by sending a list of answered questions directly to their moderators.
I started learning PHP and SQL so as to give the appropriate commands to store the required information in the app's database where it can then be modified at any time once added.
Please note that as of 15th February 2018, the app is still ongoing development, and is expected to finish in May 2018.

Game Planet E - Commerce Website
As part of my experience studying Web Development I've also studied UI/UX Design, which is the design process of the layout and navigation of the website before it undergoes the coding process.
We were asked to create a website or mobile app which has a purpose to fulfil. Being a gamer, I chose to make an E - Commerce website where gamers can buy games, consoles and accessories at lower prices than most stores. When deciding on the name I decided to call it "Game Planet"
I designed Game Planet's logo in Illustrator and designed the various screens on Photoshop. After designing all the required screens for every page and every sub-action in the pages, I've made the screens interactive through Invision.
